On the Rides
Like I said, the kids were brave. Ally's favorite- Splash Mountain, Alexa's favorite- Universe of Energy, Bryce's favorite- Small World. He pointed at all the singing dolls and said "oohh, oh, uuhh"!
Bryce on Vacation
Poor guy fell out of the stroller on our first night at Disney. He had a huge boo-boo on his forehead which actually healed amazingly fast. He was awake all night after that and we're not sure if it was from his injury or just being in a different place. About 4:00 am Brent ended up sleeping in the van with him! We then had to be a breakfast with Mickey at 7:00. Other than that, he was such a good guy on the trip.
Hair Wraps
Both girls, and Emma too, got hair wraps on our vacation. We're making Ally get a haircut before the next one- at $2 an inch plus the cost of beads, hers totaled $30!!!
Caribbean Beach
We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort, which just underwent major renovations to the pool. Don't get me wrong, the kids loved the parks, but I think they'd tell you that the pool was the best part of the trip.
Disney Adventure
Back to reality for us. We just spent a fabulous week at Disney. We all had so much fun. Our once timid Ally, now has almost no fears and as for Alexa, she went on every ride she was tall enough for (which was most of them). I was scared to let her go on some of the big ones but she begged, pleaded and cried so in the end, I gave in! Our good friends, the Cowie's joined us on the trip, making it that much more fun. Military Appreciation
Few pics from our tailgating at the military appreciation game last week. It was about a thousand degrees out which proved to be more than poor Alexa could handle.
Dinner With The President
The president of the University hosted a dinner for all new employee's and families. Lots of good food, tiger masks, cheerleaders and the pep band. I think the best part was that it was held in the president's box at the football stadium. Pretty spectacular views of a beautiful facility. Our blood is already starting flow orange!
