More Thanksgiving Pics

Thanksgiving Dinner

We spent a very enjoyable evening at the Cowie's house. Since they're from England (and don't celebrate Thanksgiving) they made us a tradional British Christmas dinner complete with bread sauce and a few different root veggies!

Christmas Spirit

Soon as our pumpkin pie was finished we moved onto Christmas decorating! No rude comments about the 6' inflatable snow globe! Christmas is for the kids!!

A Thanksgiving Tradition

There's so much that I'm thankful for this Thanksgiving. The big ones being my family, our health, our troops dedication to protecting us and our country, seeing my children laugh and play, living in a warm and cozy house and oh so many more blessings. I have to admit that among my list of things to be thankful for is our family tradition of pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving breakfast (and of course whipped cream too). It brings a smile to all of our faces!

Sad To See Him Go

We spent a few fun filled days with Uncle Greg. We'll miss him but were pretty excited that we can still see him on a daily basis with our new web cam!

Best of Both World's

Alexa Grace- A beautiful combination of tomboy/girly-girl. Gotta love the army pants with her sparkly "tappy shoes".

Happy Veteran's Day

In honor of Veteran's Day (and Uncle Greg coming to visit later today) the kiddies were sporting their army apparel! We're so thankful for all our vets (especially Papa John and Dave!) and our current army boys too- Uncle John and Uncle Greg.

Back To Work

Well, no more life of leisure for me folks. 8 weeks and I'm back to work. Since the birth of #3 I've had to cut back on my grueling schedule- down to 4 hours/week (from my original 7 hours/week)! Actually, it was nice to go back (sort-of!). I'm very fortunate in that my kids are able to come with me. We have a babysitter there that keeps Alexa and Bryce plus 3 other children. It's Alexa's favorite place to play. She's known the babysitter as well as the other kids since birth. Ally's very disappointed that I'm at work while she's at school as it means she doesn't get to play there anymore. Last night she was pressuring me to work another day so that she could come too!

Swimming at the Y

Used the extra hour in our day today to go swimming!!

Cinderella

Ally's decided that it's time she started earning some money to buy her siblings Christmas gifts. It did my heart good to hear her say "Don't walk there Alexa, I just washed that spot!" Can't tell you how many times I've said that to her!

Mama's Boy

Bryce was wearing his "I Love Mommy" shirt today. Couldn't resist getting a few pictures of him. Yes, you can guarantee I'll torture him with them during his teenage years!
