Great entertainment from a cheap pair of play sunglasses. The fun went on and on as Bryce would put on his glasses and then pose for the camera while saying "cheese"!

Our Gingerbread House

 

 

 

The girls, with the assistance of Gram and Gramp, completed a hum-dinger of a gingerbread house. They agreed that Ally would do one side and Alexa would do the other. Ally's was light on candy while Alexa's was oozing. Both were beautiful!

Maine Lobstah'

 

 

 

It's Ally's favorite day of the year....When Grammy and Grampy arrive with lobsters (and boy were they good)!!! Grampy helped Ally pick every last bit of meat. Yes, abit disgusting to watch, but oh so yummy. As for Alexa and Bryce, they enjoyed their hot dogs. Alexa wouldn't touch lobster with a ten foot pole. Oh well, more for us!

Christmas Program '08

 

 

 

 

Our littlest girl sang her heart out in her preschool Christmas program this morning! As usual, she stole our hearts. She started off her morning by saying "I don't want to go to school today!". Once she realized that she finally got to wear her extra puffy dress that she picked out she decided she might be able to make it. We're sure glad she did!

What Kind of Fan Are You

 

Alexa hates orange. How can one live in this town and not like orange??? I think the true reason is she likes to torment her father. The more she talks about her dislike of orange the more it gets him going! He's told the poor kid that the fans are going to boo and chant "what kind of fan are you" when she walks into a local sporting event wearing pink!

Santa

 

 

We haven't made it to see a fancy mall-type Santa yet but we did happen to run into him at the campus bookstore. The girls enjoyed their visit, however Bryce was less than thrilled. He doesn't like to be held by friends let alone some strange fat guy with facial hair and a hat. His coping mechanism was to simply not make eye-contact or even look up from the ground.

Thanksgiving

 

 

 

 

Good friends and good food make for a perfect Thanksgiving, which is exactly what we had. We always enjoy ourselves when were with the Willey's. I have to laugh though, because at some point during every visit the conversation always turns to Brent and John swapping Franklin/Milbridge stories!! You can take the boys out of Maine but you can't take Maine out of the boys.

Jump Rope Club

 

 

 

 

Ally joined the jump rope club at school this fall. They've had two performances this year- one at a volleyball game at the university and also during the town Christmas parade. The parade was earlier this week. You can see the little ones were a bit chilly. Bryce pretty much cried the entire time!
