What a Feast
After church, we indulged in quite a feast. Okay, abit embarassing to admit but we broke down and bought a turkey fryer. Brent's dad and friend Dick were in charge of the frying and did a heck of a job!
Christmas Eve Service
Funny enough, after Santa left our house, family friends from Maine made a surprise visit. Dick and Barbara, along with the Cowies and Brent's parents joined us for the Christmas Eve service at church. The church provided horse drawn carriage rides and a petting zoo.
Visit From Santa
Since Brent was about 3 years old he has been blessed with a special visit from Santa Clause. Last year was the fist time he didn't see Santa because we didn't make the journey back to Maine. Well, Santa heard that we weren't coming to Maine again this year, so he came to us!!

Introducing......
Ally as Twinkle Star. Ally's 1st grade class performed "Santa & The Star Search" this past weekend. Ally had several speaking lines and a short duet. She, as well as the rest of her class, were amazing. They all knew their lines and were as cool as cucumbers up on stage!

It's snowing...
and boy did the kids think it was great! Okay, so we had to settle for snowflakes made from soap bubbles but it's probably the only way we'll see a white Christmas.
Santa Sighting
We made our journey to see Santa this weekend. Ally asked for an electric scooter and as for Alexa, she'd like band-aids!
Gingerbread Men
Today was the big day to decorate our gingerbread men. I fully expected my children to snack as they decorated but I had no idea to what magnitude Alexa would indulge. Let's just say it will be hours before she comes down from her sugar high. However, Ally was very studious with her creations and took great pride in her work!
