We're Back
Oh, what a great trip to Maine we had. I'm so glad we'll always have family there because it's such an amazing place to visit. Thanks to everybody for making our trip so memorable. We love you all and can't wait for next summer (yes, Brent will be joining us on the next vacation).
Ferry Beach
Yet another beautiful Maine beach. Notice the baby starfish Ally's holding.We had a surprise visit from my Aunt Ema and cousin Grace from Arizona. Great seeing you both!
Crab Fishing
We caught some beauties! Our technique- raw chicken legs wrapped in twine dangled over the side of the pier. Within in minutes the crabs snapped on to the chicken and we were able to gently pull them up. Ally got pretty good at picking them up without getting pinched. Alexa was not impressed! They ranged in size from about a quarter to the size of my palm.
Holbrook Island
If you ever go to Maine, you have to go to Holbrook Island. The only access is by boat. In my opinion, it emcompasses all the beauty of Maine- crystal clear water, mountain views and meadows to walk through. Thanks for making the trip to see us Aunt Judy and Uncle Peter. We always love our time spent with you.
Cowgirl Up
I'm starting to wonder if Ally was switched at birth!! Unlike her mother, she has a love for all creatures great and small. I'm actually really proud of her and am more than willing to support her (as long as the animals remain at other people's houses!!). She's now begging for a horse of her own. Thanks Mallori and Betsy.

Swim Kids Swim
Yes, it is warm enough to swim here in Maine. Here's the proof. Notice there's no pictures of mommy in the pool!!
Ice Cream Parlor
My favorite treat in Maine.... The ice cream. Bet you thought I was going to say lobster. Being the 3rd born child sure has its benefits as even Bryce got his share of licks.
