Sweet Friends
With the weather colder and Ty getting older, our sweet dog's been spending more time hanging out by our feet. Bryce added "Ty" to his rapidly expanding vocabulary yesterday. He also learned to shake his head "no". Cute but also troublesome! Now every time I ask him a question he shakes his head "no" and usually means it!

Dad's Turn
After our visit to the lizard lab, Brent got to re-live his glory days. Tim invited Brent to join his soccer league in their weekly game. The good news, nobody was injured!
Lizards!
My friend, whose husband is a biologist at the University, kindly invited us to his lab to see the lizards that he's studying. He's currently researching muscle fatigue in lizards. No joke, he has a treadmill for them and everything! Ally's been counting the days until we got to visit Tim's lab. He mentioned that maybe he'd be looking for homes for his current batch of lizards when his research is complete. Guess whose hoping one makes it her way!

Homecoming
Turned out to be a beautiful weekend for the Tigers to celebrate homecoming weekend. With rain the past couple of days it looked like the floats might melt away but all was well in the end. Amazing displays were put together by the students over the past week. The amount of spirit around here still amazes me. Everywhere you turn you're surrounded by orange, and not just on game days. Brent and the girls (and 80,000 other fans) enjoyed the game while Bryce and I watched on TV. Go Tigers!

Mom, Dad and the Kiddies Too
Another gorgeous fall weekend here in the southland. What do you think Mainers, can our foliage compete?? Spent Saturday afternoon watching the "big game". Horrible lose for us but there's always next weekend. At least we got to watch the game with good friends (mama and Jen had a few Malibu's with Coke, which always adds to the fun!). Sunday afternoon it was off to the botanical gardens for a couple hours of hiking and playing. Lots of pictures were taken, as Ally's become a real "poser". After 2 years of owning my camera I just realized the fun in using the automatic setting. Finally got a couple pics of the whole family.

Fall Hike
What a perfect day for a fall hike. One of the many perks of working for a University... Fall Break. Brent had a couple of days off so we headed out for a stroll through the woods. Ally and Brent were able to take a more challenging trail to a waterfall while the little ones and I hung behind.

Happy Halloween
Lots of fun this Halloween. Our spooks included a witch, cinderella and a hunny pot. The downtown merchants host a trick or treating event every year which we took part in. We followed it with more trick or treating at a friend's neighborhood. Ally's getting braver every year, Alexa loves the thrill of a scare and Bryce was wondering the whole time "what have these people done to me now?"!
