We've been waiting for this day! Ally decided it was time she learned to ride a bike without training wheels. Her motivation was bike day at school next week. They get to bring their bikes to P.E. class and I think she was worried that she'd be the only one with training wheels. Such a special moment when dad was able to let his little girl go and stand back and watch as she soared off on her own.

Our friends hosted an 80's party last night. I haven't laughed so hard in a really long time!! When Ally saw me in full attire her mouth dropped and she said "how did you do that??" Brent's wishing he could grow his mullet back.

Ally's fitness team performed at the Y. They all did such a great job- tumbling, hula-hooping, flipping.

The kids earned blue ribbons and Brent got to go on stage to recieve his trophy.

Healthy Kid's Day

 

 

 

 

Another sucessful YMCA healthy kid's day. Brent ran the 5K and won his age division (20 min. 48 secs.). Ally and Alexa ran the 1/2 mile race and Ally finished in the top 5!! Last year we all got this sunburns and this year we had thunder and lightning shortly into the day. Still, fun was had by all.
