Happy 4th Birthday Alexa! We celebrated the day with pink, pink and more pink. So much fun was to be had dancing, twirling and playing with friends on this special day.

A Day In The Life Of Ally

 

 

 

 

Eight years ago today we welcomed Ally into the world. She's an amazing girl, whose incredibly smart, mature and sweet. Her diverse interests add to her fun personality. Today was a totally Ally kinda day! By breakfast she had already made a compost pile. At lunch we headed to the park for a picnic and then Brent and the girls went out on the boat. My last words to them were "you're not seriously going to swim yet, are you??". The answer is obvious!! After the boat we barbequed with some friends and ate cake!!!

School Celebration

 

 

 

 

We celebrated Ally's 8th birthday at school yesterday. She wanted a cookie cake which I have to say is the easiest request I've had yet. Brent keeps trying to talk them into store bought treats but they'll have no part of it. There's been birthdays were we've spent hours preparing the cakes. This one was simple and a hit too. I love the picture of the boys at her table. They all wanted their individual pictures taken with frosting smeared all over their faces. I also think it's funny that the girls won't sit anywhere near them at the table!!

Brent's fans (all 4 of us!)turned out for his come-back running performance. For some strange reason he hasn't run a race since last spring. We're trying to talk him into more cause we all love watching him and he's actually really good!

Happy Easter

 

 

 

 

Hope you all had a Happy Easter. We spent our day eating way too much candy and taking in the beautiful sunshine. We brought a picnic lunch to the baseball game (even though there are big signs everywhere that read no coolers or lawnchairs!) and later we hit the playground. We did miss having family here to enjoy it with though.

Spring Football

 

 

 

 

A beautiful day made for a perfect opportunity to enjoy some spring football along with a baseball double header too! There's never a shortage of things to do in the springtime in our neck of the woods. We've become pros at finding places to "sit" at every sporting event where there's room for the kids to play. We started out in the stands at the football game but about 10 minutes later we relocated to "the hill" where the kids could play freely. It looks like we'll be in the cheap seats at least another year before Bryce can be tamed.
