Greg's doing well. It's always nice to hear from him and know he's safe. He's been able to check his email everyday and even make some phone calls. Here are some pics during a sandstorm earlier in the week. He said the sky went completely orange which is evident in the photo. John should be home in the next month or so!!!

Hair Cut

 

 

After one too many "comb-over" comments, I decided to give our little man a trim. I have to admit the new look is pretty handsome!!

Our Easter Party

We hosted our 3rd annual Easter party again this year. The weather was perfect, our friend's are great and the kids played beautifully. Couldn't ask for more (except our family all living closer to join in the fun!). I think Ally's going to be a party planner when she grows up. She came up with lots of activities- egg/spoon relay, pin the tail on the bunny, hopscotch, hula-hooping and Easter coloring pages. Our kids received a bounce house for Christmas so that was also a big hit along with the egg hunt.

Easter Morning

The Easter bunny found his way to our house once again! Alexa was briefly concerned that she wouldn't be able to fit her chocolate bunny into her mouth but she quickly figured out a way.

School Festival

Alexa's school hosted a big Easter celebration on Saturday. The Easter bunny made a grand entrance by flying in on a helicopter. Greg- we thought this would be a great career for you when you get back from Iraq. Offical pilot to the bunny, santa, cupid, etc!

Coloring Eggs

We just realized how early Easter is this year. Saturday we jumped into action and colored eggs to use as decorations and filled plastic eggs with candy for our big hunt.

Oh, What A Night!

 

 

 

 

First annual Father/Daughter dance at Ally's school. Preparations included hair, nails and a pizza dinner. Brent and Ally limboed, chicken danced and macaranaed the night away. Ally's favorite part was playing on the golf course (the event was held at a local clubhouse) and the punch fountain! Priceless memories for both dad and daughter.
