Camp Fire

 

 

 

 

Considering it hasn't rained in months, this may not have been our best decision, but the kids were thrilled to have a camp fire. Since it's so incredibly dry here, Captain Safety (Brent) was worried about torching the neighborhood but it turned out just fine! Not surprisingly, Alexa ate half her body weight in marshmallows!

We headed to a local Farm on Sunday afternoon for some fall fun (it ended up not feeling too fallish with the temperature around 82)but that's the south for you!

Having Fun With The Cousins

 

 

 

 

Our cousins from TN arrived yesterday. They've all been having fun running around, riding bikes, playing dress up, having camp fires and visiting the pumpkin patch (and oh yeah, playing game boy!).

Bryce's first visit to the jungle gym. By the way, he is one month old today and had his well-check. He weighed in at 10 lbs, 12 ozs. and was 23 inches!

Mommy's Helper

 

 

In an attempt to get back into the groove of cooking again, Alexa and I made turkey meatballs yesterday. She had a great time slicing and dicing but of course, wouldn't eat them! She's going through a bit of a picky eater stage (at least we hope it's only a stage).

Tubby Time

 

Here's our big boy in his first bath (actually in the sink, but close enough). Yes, he's had lots of sponge baths but hadn't been submerged yet! We're still waiting on his first adventure to the real tub. Hopefully this weekend.
